Murat Can Cicek ("we", "our", or "us") built SoulScribe to support your spiritual growth and personal reflection. We deeply respect the private nature of your journal entries, prayers, and reflections. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.

All of this data is stored locally on your device. No user accounts or authentication are required to use SoulScribe.
SoulScribe offers AI-powered insights to help you reflect on patterns in your journaling. When you use this feature:
If you have iCloud enabled, your journal data may be synced across your own Apple devices using your personal iCloud account. This sync is managed entirely by Apple's iCloud infrastructure and is accessible only to you. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your personal data, journal entries, or any other content with any third parties. Your spiritual reflections are yours alone.
We collect anonymous crash reports and aggregated usage statistics to improve app stability and performance. These analytics contain no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you or your journal content.
SoulScribe does not display advertisements and does not use any ad tracking technologies.
You can delete all of your data at any time from within the app. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion will also propagate to your other synced devices.
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including encryption and device passcode. iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We recommend enabling a device passcode or biometric authentication for additional privacy.
SoulScribe is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You may exercise your rights by managing or deleting data directly within the app.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. SoulScribe does not sell personal information. You can delete all your data from within the app at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on this page with a revised effective date.
