HearBoost — Hearing Aid, Hearing Test & Sound Amplification

Murat Can Cicek ("we", "our", or "us") built HearBoost to help you hear better in everyday situations. We take your privacy seriously, especially regarding audio data and health information. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.

If you have iCloud enabled, your hearing test results and amplification settings may be synced across your own Apple devices using your personal iCloud account. This sync is managed entirely by Apple's iCloud infrastructure and is accessible only to you. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your personal data, hearing test results, or any audio data with any third parties.
HearBoost does not require user accounts or authentication. No personal information such as name, email, or phone number is collected by the app.
We collect anonymous crash reports and aggregated usage statistics to improve app stability and performance. These analytics contain no personally identifiable information, no audio data, and cannot be linked back to you.
HearBoost does not display advertisements and does not use any ad tracking technologies.
You can delete all of your data (hearing test results and settings) at any time from within the app. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion will also propagate to your other synced devices.
Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including encryption and device passcode. iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple.
HearBoost is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You may exercise your rights by managing or deleting data directly within the app.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. HearBoost does not sell personal information. You can delete all your data from within the app at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on this page with a revised effective date.
